Best hint I can give you is they FIRST appear as a "foreign" strain
attached to the people of Eastern Eranwezh in Hyperborea, in the Okunev
culture of the 2nd millenium BC. They were living at that time along the
Yenesei River on the Minusa steppes, north of the Siberian/Mongolian
border. Ethnologists generally refer to them as members of the "Northern
Asiatic race".

My personal opinion is that they are descendants of Magog & Tubal of
Genesis 10.
